I photograph flowers frozen in ice, working with natural light. My approach is influenced by the theory of intrinsically disordered proteins, forms without fixed structure that remain functional. This idea shapes my decisions in composition and detail. After freezing, the ice reveals patterns, distortions, and shifting colour fields. I try to capture a suspended state where life has ended but traces remain. I focus on the tension between order and disorder. I invite viewers to pause and engage with the beauty of impermanence.
